Welcome Back Message from our Superintendent

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

I hope this message finds you well and that you have enjoyed your summer.  There is an excitement and energy that comes with the start of a new school year and the smiling faces of our students returning to school.  

As the newly appointed Superintendent for Horizon School Division, I am delighted to warmly welcome all of our students, staff, and families to a new school year.  To our new families, we are so glad that you have joined our community. To our returning families, we are eager to continue to support your children (our students), together.

As we embark on this new school year, our priorities will be guided by our mission to engage and empower all learners.  We have an exceptional team of educators and staff who are committed to connection - the connection that enables students to see great potential in themselves and the connections we make between our staff and families that turn our schools into a community. 

As we begin this school year together, I would like to encourage open communication and partnership among parents, guardians, and our school communities.  When we work together, we create a positive educational experience for all of our students.   The opportunity to work collaboratively with our dedicated trustees and staff, families, and community members is something I am really looking forward to.  

Thank you for entrusting us with the education of your children - it is a privilege for which we are grateful.  Together, I am confident that we will make this a year of positive connections and growth for our students.
