Students Celebrate Mennonite Heritage Week

Students at Horizon MAP School celebrated Mennonite Heritage Week with different activities and events at their school.
Mennonite Heritage Week in Canada takes place annually during the second week of September. The year celebrates the 500th anniversary of the Anabaptist movement, which began with the first adult baptism in Zürich in 1525 and led to the formation of Mennonite and other Anabaptist groups. Canadian organizations use this week to share Mennonite history, culture, and contributions to Canadian society.
