Gretchen Bourassa

Gretchen Bourassa is the Family Connections Wellness Coach at Vauxhall Elementary and High School, Horizon MAP School and Lomond Community School. Originally from Whitecourt AB, Gretchen moved to Lethbridge for college. After completing her diploma in Child and Youth Care she was eager to start working for the Horizon School Division. Gretchen is passionate about helping others and looks forward to continuing to serve the communities she is working in.

In her spare time Gretchen enjoys many activities, from skateboarding, longboarding, snowboarding, paddle boarding, to knitting and watching movies. 

Gretchen is very excited to be part of the Horizon School Division FSLP team again this year. She is looking forward to strengthening the connections she has made with students, their families and the staff at each of the schools she works in. In the schools you can find Gretchen doing classroom presentations around the promotion of mental health capacity building, social skills and many more. Or on the playground and in gym class playing games with the students.
