New W.R. Myers High School Vice Principal

The Horizon School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Adam Hughes as one of the new Vice Principals of W.R. Myers High School, commencing with the 2022-2023 school year.

Mr. Hughes has worked for Horizon School Division since 2011 and has taught math from grade 9 to 12 during this time. He says he loves teaching; it gives him the opportunity to connect with students. His belief is that students learn best when they feel safe and engaged.

Mr. Hughes graduated from the University of Lethbridge in 2010 with a combined Bachelor of Education / Bachelor of Science degree.

Adam is excited to work in the role of Vice Principal so he can help staff and students of W.R. Myers grow and reach their potential.
