The Board of Trustees for The Horizon School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Chidibere (Peter) Nwisi as the new Network Administrator for The Horizon School Division beginning July 5, 2021.
Mr. Nwisi has been in the role of Tech Support Specialist for The Horizon School Division since July 2020. To date, Peter has accumulated 3 years Information Technology (I.T.) experience in Desktop, Server, and Network Support Services. His education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering and a Post Diploma Degree in Information Technology.
Peter is currently single and enjoys listening to music, watching movies, playing games, and doing lots of research in his spare time.
Peter prides himself on being a motivated, dedicated and industrious I.T. Professional and when asked to comment on how he feels about his new adventure he stated “The new job of a Network Administrator for Horizon School Division is a career advancement for me. It solidifies my contributions towards the technological advancements on-going at the School Division. I prefer to see myself as one of the back-end heroes behind the smiles of many staff and students during one of the greatest business transactions in the world, which is the development of the leaders of tomorrow.”
The Board of Trustees is confident Peter’s experiences and skill with network administration will facilitate technological integration into the learning experience and engage and empower our students as they gain the knowledge and skills to be contributing citizens and foster a desire to be life-long learners. He truly is someone who brings smiles to people’s faces.
