“Family Day is about spending quality time with the people you love. Alberta families will be able to make memories through activities and events for all ages taking place throughout the weekend. Free or low-cost activities at our heritage facilities across the province gives everyone this opportunity.”

Leela Sharon Aheer, Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women

“Albertans treasure and enjoy their long weekends, and many enjoy outdoor adventures with friends and family. Every year, Alberta Environment celebrates Family Day by offering free, family-friendly activities to help Albertans create long-lasting memories on the unique landscapes inside and outside of our provincial parks.”

Jason Nixon, Minister of Environment and Parks
